Angela K. East Leadership and Team Building Facilitator, Fractional Services Provider

Angela K. East

As the Founder and CEO of East Consulting, I have developed a successful fractional format that provides an economical and strategic solution for small businesses and medical practices. With a diverse and comprehensive skill set that encompasses financial, medical, and logistical management, I offer tailored solutions to address the unique challenges faced by smaller organizations. As a fractional service advisor, I offer expertise and support in the areas of finance, medical credentialing, licensing, compliance, emergency preparedness, administration, and logistics.

Throughout my 35-year professional career, I have honed exceptional skills in management and execution. My professional journey has been dedicated to helping small organizations thrive by aligning teams with organizational goals, fostering a culture of engagement, and driving productivity.

I have succeeded in navigating the complexities of limited resources, particularly in underserved and geographically isolated locations. My experience has taught me how to maximize efficiency and innovation, ensuring that small organizations can flourish even in challenging environments.

With a full and complete understanding of medical practice management coupled with extensive financial expertise, I deliver comprehensive and strategic support to my clients. My background involves managing emergency preparedness and recovery efforts after natural disasters, vaccine management and distribution during the COVID-19 pandemic, and the coordination of multiple hospitals’ oxygen supplies. With a full understanding of compliance and project management, I have overseen buildout projects of urgent care and medical clinic facilities. These experiences have refined my ability to handle crises and provide effective solutions when and where they are most needed.

My goal is to empower your organization to achieve its full potential. My unique background and extensive experience enable me to relate to the challenges faced by small business owners.   I offer effective, cost-saving fractional service solutions designed to drive success for your business. On a freelance, part-time, or contracted basis I can fill specific roles at a fraction of the cost to hire a financial, credentialing, or planning specialist.

Thoughtful and Compassionate Leadership

Leadership and team building have always been my passion. Growing up on a working farm, I participated in 4-H, team sports, championship equestrian competitions, and student government association. Eventually, I became a Master of Strategic Leadership. Throughout my life, I have been either led or leading. I have always been inspired by the synergy and the outcomes possible when a team excels through collective motivation. I am also intrigued by less desirable outcomes and feel compelled to make a change among teams that are struggling and not in sync.

In today’s rapidly evolving workforce, leaders are increasingly required to navigate complex and dynamic environments with thoughtfulness and compassion. The traditional command-and-control leadership style is yielding to a more empathetic and inclusive approach, where understanding and addressing the diverse needs of employees is paramount.

Leaders must cultivate a culture of trust and psychological safety, where team members feel valued and heard. By leading with compassion, leaders can foster a sense of belonging and engagement, which in turn drives productivity and innovation. Thoughtful leadership involves actively listening, being present, and demonstrating genuine care for the well-being of employees. This approach not only enhances employee satisfaction and retention but also contributes to the overall success and resilience of the organization.
